Neelam Maletha is an Agriculture associate who has completed her graduation in Agriculture from Graphic Era Hill University. Along with her degree, she has also completed an internship in Hi-tech Horticulture. Neelam has participated in various training programs related to agriculture, including mushroom cultivation, apiculture (beekeeping), hydroponics, nursery management, and organic farming.

Additionally, Neelam has gained practical experience in rural agriculture through a work experience program at ICAR-IISWC (Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation). This experience provided her with a comprehensive understanding of agricultural practices and techniques.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Calcutta University and a Masters degree from HNB Garhwal University. With over 5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor and State Learning and Development Head, have acquired extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of education and professional development.An enthusiast and seeker with 5+ years of experience as an Assistant professor in the Agro-Sciences department and Training Development (Learning & Development). Have been a driving force for degree students and corporate teams in implementing new businesses in diverse sectors. Made significant contributions through a targeted strategy, motivating people and directing learning programs meant to improve workers’ knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior in relation to their jobs. Solid training experience.

Raj Nandani hails from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

She did her post-graduation in Corporate Communication Management from Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

She has 2+ years of experience working in communication fields with notable organizations helping them with social media marketing, digital marketing and creatives.

She has joined MVDA as an Manager- Admin & Communication. During her master’s, she took up an Internship at MVDA, which was an amazing learning experience for her.

Her idea in life is to work for a cause and contribute to the betterment of society along with remaining grounded with the communities so that she can learn and grow together.

She likes travelling and photography and in her free time, she listens to BTS (K-pop) Bands or makes new friends and spends time with them.

Ritika is a Diligent and committed Professional Social Worker. She holds a degree in Social Work from Aditi Mahavidyalaya (Delhi University) and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indira Gandhi National University. 

She has more than 3 years of experience in non profit sector as a Regional Coordinator with Humanify Foundation and was  responsible for NationWide Menstrual Hygiene Management Campaign.

She belongs to Udham Singh Nagar.  As she saw her town, where the people are migrating towards the cities, and this motivates her to work for her own state, she wants to make women self-reliant and wants to invest her time in her own state’s people.
She wants to spread happiness and love amongst the people and the beauty of Uttarakhand inspires her to stay connected to nature.

Yogendra Singh is passionate about promoting and supporting education in rural area through the strong community participation and practical intervention. He also passionate to strengthen youth and women’s sustainable livelihood initiative through collectivization. He has 8 years of experience in education sector. Prior to join as Project Coordination he worked with MVDA as a Senior Supervisor and with (CBM Trust India as Block coordinator under Livelihood domain.

 He completed Post Graduation and B.Ed. from HNBG University. He likes singing, writing Hindi poems and travel mountains.

Sandeep Rana is an energetic & ambitious person who has developed a mature & responsible approach to any task & situation that he undertakes. He joined the MVDA as a Finance Officer
Previously he worked as an Assistant Accountant at Vardan and also worked as a Senior Accountant at a Chartered Accountant firm.
He has over all 10 years experience mainly in Bookkeeping, Reporting, Tally Accounting & other Accounting work Etc.
He pursued his post graduation in MBA finance from Shobhit University Meerut. He loves Reading Books, music & Swimming.

Yogendra Singh is a post graduate in horticulture science from VCSG, Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Bharsar. Prior to becoming a part of MVDA, he worked with Himalayan Action Research Center (HARC) as an agriculture/horticulture advisor for 2.5 years. At present, working as a Programme Manager of holistic rural development and responsible for monitoring and evaluating of the project by providing necessary guidance, training support to staff, resource mobilization, coordination and facilitating field level planning and implementation. He desires to work for the needy people by living in the midst of nature, it gives him happiness and inspires him to become better every day. He loves hiking in the mountains, photography, living with limited resources in the lap of nature and meeting new people.

PratibhaRawat works as a Programme Manager for the ‘Farming Innovation for Women Empowerment’ project. She is from Uttarakhand’sPauriGarhwal region. Her responsibilities include implementing the documentation and information strategies in a methodical manner, developing various Monitoring and Evaluation Tools to assess the project’s performance, and conducting an annual evaluation of the project.
She holds a Bachelor ’s Degree in Agriculture from SGRR University in Dehradun and a Master’s degree in Rural Technology from HNBGU in Srinagar Garhwal. Previously, she worked at the G B Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment, Garhwal Regional Centre, as a Junior Project Fellow. She has a deep interest in agriculture, rural areas, and the overall development of society. Field work experience, in her opinion, is an essential component of the overall learning process. Organic Farming, Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Development, and Technological Intervention in rural belt are some of the areas that she is particularly interested in

Sanjay joined MVDA in 2016, and currently working as a project coordinator. Sanjay is working in education sector for more than two decades. He has completed M.Sc. from H.N.B. Garhwal University. He desires to see the youth of the Uttarakhand working for the mountains and not migrating to the cities. Sanjay believes education can play a major role in this. He likes reading about new topics and make his students aware of it.

Navprabhat holds a Masters in Social Work from Delhi School of Social Work (University of Delhi). He was the first recipents of Martha Farrell Scholarship awarded by Martha Farrell Foundation in collobration with National Association of Professional Social Works in India. He worked with Society for the Promotion of Women and Child welfare as a Project Officer.

At MVDA he is associated as Strategy & Planning Manager and is responsible to provide new inputs for the organization. His works are mainly the strategic planning for organization and the programs. He also supports the administration for smooth functioning.

He loves trevelling new places, is a nature lover and likes to make new friends.

Mahaveer Singh Mehra holds Master in Commerce from Hemvanti Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. He joined MVDA in 2008 as an Accountant. He currently leads organization’s Finance section and lead and manager finance and Administration team. Prior to MVDA he worked as an accountant in Delhi.

Avtar Singh Negi is the Founder Secretary of the organization and is continuing with his 25 years of experience in the social sector. Starting with his first project along with government on Joint Forest Management, his hard work and determination bought goodwill to the organization as well as gained popularity and trust of the locals. During initial period he worked closely with youth for awareness on social stigmas like gender violence and liquor consumption and further moving to promoting and facilitating literacy, preventive health and environment awareness. At present he is at advisory role for the senior management of the organization. His love for his community and the betterment of the oppressed people dedicated him to work through advocacy to eliminate atrocities of local community and work religiously for improvement in lives of the rural community.

He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s in History from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. His enthusiasm for reaching out to communities, protecting nature and traditional practices is same as to the time when he first sow the seed of the organization. His passion and hobby lies in his work for his people and their empowerment.

Anita Trivedi,completed post graduate in the field of agriculture with specialization in seed science and technology and graduation in life sciences. Before joining MVDA She worked as Seed Analyst in IARD, Plantica Agriculture Training institute, and since then has been an Assistant Professor of Agriculture in Uttaranchal PG college of Biomedical sciences and hospitals Dehradun.
She joined MVDA as Programme Manager, incharge of field implementation, climate changes ,conservation of local seeds etc and agro biodiversity project.

Vinod has joined MVDA in 2015, and currently works as a supervisor. He has Post Graduate degree from HNB Garhwal University. He has also worked for two years in Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. He loves solving Mathematics’ questions and enjoys working for the society since it brings satisfaction in his life.

Satye belongs to Bhilangana, his educational qualifications includeM.A. Economics and B.Ed. from Central University, Garhwal. He is working in ESI program as a Facilitator since 2020, previously he was associated with Sharda Coaching Institute where he worked as a teacher. Reading philosophical books keep him motivated to do better in his life. “We become what we think about” is his favorite quote.

Ravindra joined MVDA in February 2021. He is from Jaunpur, TehriGarhwal and works as a supervisor under GCEP project. He has completed his Graduation in 2017 from SridevSuman University. He enjoys walking in the mountains and exploring new places. He has done many treks while doing this. Ravindra loves reading about the great personalities especially those who brought changes in our society, getting to know about them inspire him a lot.

Priyanka has done MA in 2017 from Mussoorie MPG College, and started working with MVDA in the year 2019 as a supervisor under GCEP. Before MVDA, she has worked in Uttarakhand Herald newspaper for one year as a page designer in Dehradun. She likes being updated with current affairs, and read stories in free time. She aspires to do something meaningful in her life which can contribute for societal development.

Pradeep is associated with GCEP as a supervisor and joined MVDA in year 2016. His education qualifications are B.Sc. from H.N.B.G.U. and M.A. (Economics) from Shri DevSuman University. He also has two years of teaching experience. Herelishes reading autobiographies of inspiring personalities.

Meena has been associated with MVDA for more than a decade now. She works as a community mobilizer under FIWE project. She is a post graduate in Sociology and likes to motivate the women of the community to empower themselves. Meena is a highly motivated personality and always tries to learn something new.

Manoj is graduate in Hindi from Shri DevSuman University, and belongs to Uttarkashi. Heworks as Assistant Project Coordinator under GCEP project. He is associated with MVDA since 2014. Previously, he has done social surveys and training program for the same. Apart fromwork, he never misses a chance to play some sports.

Kunwar is a post graduate in Sociology and works as a community mobilizer under FIWE project. He is a part of MVDA for more 15 years. He possesses a lot of experience of the field and helps in smooth execution of the project. Kunwar enjoys watching war movies and never misses a chance to read about the Indian Army.

Dinesh is a post graduate from Mathematics and have also done BSc. He is associated with MVDA since 2021 and works as a supervisor under GCEP project. Prior to that, he was a teacher in Gyan Ganga Modern School. He enjoys solving puzzles and play mathematics games during his free time.

Dheerandra is a Post-graduate M.Sc (Maths) from Garhwal University and B.Ed. from Kashmir University. He also holds a one year diploma in computer application. He joined MVDA in the year 2008 as a Computer Operator and worked till 2015. He has also worked with Paryavaran Jan Vikas Samiti as a computer teacher from March 2015 to March 2021. At present, he joined MVDA as Community Mobilizer under holistic rural development project. He is a driven person who wants to contribute to community development and loves to play cricket and read books.

Anita has been associated with MVDA since 2018, she is a keen learner and shown a nice transformation in herself. She works as a community mobilizer and tries to motivate others with her own example. She likes working with the community women. Anita is quite passionate about her work.

Amrish started working with MVDA from 2018. He is working as a supervisor under GCEP project.His educational qualifications are B.Sc. and B.Ed. Previously;he has worked in Pratham Education Foundation for three years. He likesdoing social service, reading books and playing cricket.He feels contented while working for the community and that’s his passion.

Ammar Hussain joined MVDA in 2019 and works as a Supervisor in Haridwar district. Prior to MVDA, He was associated with Hands of India. He has done graduation from HNB University, Garhwal. He likes watching movies especially thriller ones. He enjoys being on the field while working with the community.
