Mr. Umesh Upadhyay is a seasoned Project Coordinator with experience working with reputed institutions such as CHRI and TISS. He has been actively involved in project implementation under national programs including the Central TB Division, Ayushman Bharat, and the National Health Mission (NHM). His core strengths include programme management, community engagement, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring effective planning and on-ground execution of public health initiatives.

He holds an M.Com and an MBA in Finance, with a total professional experience of 7.6 years in the finance domain. He is a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in accurate and compliant financial reporting, thorough audit practices, and precise financial data analysis. He possesses excellent time management skills, enabling him to manage multiple priorities effectively while delivering high-quality outcomes under strict deadlines.

Born and brought up in the Queen of Hills, Mussoorie, Rinkita Rawat brings three years of solid experience in the Human Resources field. She has developed strong expertise in recruitment and organizational development, with a focus on compliance and effective grievance redressal. She holds an MBA degree from Graphic Era University.

As an aspiring HR professional, she believes in fostering a balanced and inclusive work environment, ensuring fair opportunities for individuals who are genuinely driven to contribute to society. She is deeply committed to working in the social sector to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the underprivileged.

Ajay Mamgain is a dedicated researcher specializing in rural development with a strong background in agriculture and social sciences. With a focus on improving the livelihoods of rural communities, Ajay conducts impactful research that informs sustainable practices and policies. his goal is to contribute to sustainable agricultural practices that not only enhance productivity but also improve the well-being of communities. Skilled in data collection, analysis, and community engagement, Ajay is committed to driving positive change in the rural sector. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local leaders, to implement research findings. Ajay are good leadership and teamwork qualities crucial for ensuring work is done smoothly and efficiently.

Navprabhat holds a Masters in Social Work from Delhi School of Social Work (University of Delhi). He was the first recipients of Martha Farrell Scholarship awarded by Martha Farrell Foundation in collaboration with National Association of Professional Social Works in India. He worked with Society for the Promotion of Women and Child welfare as a Project Officer.

At MVDA he is associated as Executive Director and is responsible for representing the organization to the public and partners, develop strategy for the organization. He loves travelling new places, is a nature lover and likes to make new friends.

Pooja Rawat has a master’s degree in Rural Technology and has two years of experience in previous companies. At her previous position in Global Agri System Private Limited Gurgaon, an Agriculture Consulting Firm, she worked in the Agri Infrastructure Department as a Sr. Executive for two years. Her responsibilities included Business Development with National & International Organizations. Pooja has always wanted to work for an NGO, as she wants to be part of a community that is making a difference and helping those in need. That is why she joined MVDA as MIS and Documentation Manager on 1st August 2024.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Calcutta University and a Masters degree from HNB Garhwal University. With over 5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor and State Learning and Development Head, have acquired extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of education and professional development.An enthusiast and seeker with 5+ years of experience as an Assistant professor in the Agro-Sciences department and Training Development (Learning & Development). Have been a driving force for degree students and corporate teams in implementing new businesses in diverse sectors. Made significant contributions through a targeted strategy, motivating people and directing learning programs meant to improve workers’ knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior in relation to their jobs. I’m Kiran Rawat, originally from Kirtinagar Tehri Garhwal. I pursued my Bachelor’s in Arts in 2019 from Sri Devi Suman University Tehri Garhwal, followed by a Master’s in Social Work in 2022 from HNB Garhwa University Srinagar Garhwal. Additionally, I hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Govt Polytechnic Sringar Garhwal in 2018.

My professional journey began in 2018 as a Diploma trainee at TATA Motors Pantnagar, where I spent a year in the production department’s BIW shop. During this time, my responsibilities included updating standard documents such as WIS, 5S, and the skill matrix of operators. I resolved punch issues of operators and forwarded zero-defect data to superiors.

After completing my internship, I transitioned to work at a BMW automobile showroom in Gurgaon. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I left my job and decided to continue my studies. I pursued post-graduation in social work and, since December 2022, have been preparing for government exams while working part-time as an LDC in the Minor Lift Irrigation division in Srinagar Garhwal.

My greatest strength lies in my honesty and belief in teamwork, essential for executing tasks efficiently. Recently, I joined MVDA as a Project Coordinator, and I am dedicated to contributing my best for the excellence of the organization. I intend to utilize my knowledge, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to achieve the organization’s goals.

I have an MBA from DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad. I have more than ten years of experience working in the corporate sector and have held a variety of positions. I worked for a health insurance company as a senior manager of business development. However, satisfaction—which is essential for sustainability and growth in the corporate sector—is always overlooked. I left the corporate world and entered the development field because I was looking for fulfillment. I am a poet at heart and a lover of nature. I joined MVDA as Manager- Business & Development

Yogendra Singh is passionate about promoting and supporting education in rural area through the strong community participation and practical intervention. He also passionate to strengthen youth and women’s sustainable livelihood initiative through collectivization. He has 8 years of experience in education sector. Prior to join as Project Coordination he worked with MVDA as a Senior Supervisor and with (CBM Trust India as Block coordinator under Livelihood domain.

 He completed Post Graduation and B.Ed. from HNBG University. He likes singing, writing Hindi poems and travel mountains.

Sanjay joined MVDA in 2016, and currently working as a project coordinator. Sanjay is working in education sector for more than two decades. He has completed M.Sc. from H.N.B. Garhwal University. He desires to see the youth of the Uttarakhand working for the mountains and not migrating to the cities. Sanjay believes education can play a major role in this. He likes reading about new topics and make his students aware of it.

Mahaveer Singh Mehra holds Master in Commerce from Hemvanti Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. He joined MVDA in 2008 as an Accountant. He currently leads organization’s Finance section and lead and manager finance and Administration team. Prior to MVDA he worked as an accountant in Delhi.

She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from H.N.B. Garhwal University and is a Gold Medalist. She brings valuable experience in healthcare and community outreach. Kiran has extensive experience in organizing health camps, conducting awareness sessions on hygiene and menstrual health, supporting ANC/PNC beneficiaries, and working closely with ASHA/ANM workers and PRI members in rural areas. She is passionate about community welfare and committed to improving access to healthcare services in remote regions.

Mr. Deepraj Singh – working as an Academic Facilitator under the Girl Child Education Program (GCEP) in Uttarkashi. He brings prior work experience with UJVNL and has also actively contributed as a volunteer with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Uttarkashi. He is a B.Sc. graduate and UTET qualified, with a strong interest in education and community development.

He holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture and an M.Sc. in Horticulture, and has prior experience working with the Centre for Business and Entrepreneurial Development (CBED) and the Integrated Livelihood Support Program (ILSP) of UGVS.
He is a positive-minded and confident person who enjoys playing cricket. He has acquired extensive experience, including active involvement in rural development and organic farming initiatives, and has gained practical insights into strategies for community engagement and prevention of rural migration.

Lalit is working as an Agriculture Associate under the FRDP Project – Himachal Pradesh.
He is originally from District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
He brings with him valuable experience from his previous roles. He has worked for 2 years as a Cluster Incharge in Anni, Kullu, where he actively supported field operations and cluster-level activities. Following that, he served as an Agriculture Inspector for about 11 months at the Global Certification Society, Palampur, gaining hands-on experience in agricultural oversight and field assessment.

Ms. Sunita hails from Jaunpur, Tehri Garhwal and is associated with MVDA as an Academic Facilitator. She brings with her over 6 years of experience in teaching Science, Social Studies, and English at the primary level. She also loves sports activities. Her extensive background in the education sector reflects her passion, self-motivation, and commitment to hard work.

Agriculture Associate

Rajat Negi is an agriculturist from Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand, currently residing in Srinagar Garhwal, Pauri District. He holds a BSc. in Agriculture from Dehradun and an MBA in Agribusiness from SHUATS, Prayagraj. Rajat’s professional background includes specialized training in Mushroom Cultivation, Beekeeping, and Nursery Management. He also completed a 45-day training at Indo Organics Pesticides Company in Kashipur, U.S. Nagar. Before that, he gained 13 months of experience in the sales department at IndiaMART Intermesh Limited in Karol Bagh, Delhi.

Devender is a skilled natural farming trainer and agronomist with a robust background in management, team leadership, capacity building (including natural farming training and exposure visits), grassroots approach (stakeholder and farmer registration), and liaisoning. Currently, I hold the role of District Coordinator/Team Leader for two districts in Himachal Pradesh, Solan and Shimla (officially Solan). His positive approach has enabled me to embrace and overcome new challenges, successfully achieving targets and goals. He loves traveling and exploring new places. 

Agronomist with 1.5 years of experience at Vatshal Green Environment Pvt. Ltd. Possessing strong expertise in crop handling and soil management, Amit has successfully assisted farmers in optimizing their crop planting processes and implementing efficient farming practices. His role involved conducting soil analyses, developing tailored soil improvement strategies, and providing hands-on support to enhance crop yield and quality. He is highly adaptable, quick to learn new techniques, and always ready to embrace new challenges in the agricultural sector. 

Ayushi Jugran is well educated and has good knowledge in the fields of organic farming, regenerative agriculture, contract farming, and operations with 10 months of experience. She has very good knowledge of how to deal with farmers and local people and communication skills. She is a team player and very much dedicated to her work. She is thrilled to join the organization MVDA and contribute her goodness to the team so we all achieve our goals and can do something valuable for the farmers.

Vaishali Negi is hardworking and professional towards her work. She was born and brought up in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.  She holds a graduation degree in Agriculture from S.G.R.R (P.G) College and post-graduation in Agronomy (Agriculture) from Uttaranchal (P.G) College of Bio-medical Sciences and Hospital, Dehradun. She  has one year teaching experience as Assistant Professor in Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, Dehradun. She aspires to be recognized as a leader in her field, known for her dedication, expertise, and ability to inspire others. She is committed to making meaningful contributions that advance the goals of our organization and improve the lives of those we serve. She loves cooking and exploring new areas.

Manjeet Singh Kaintura joined MVDA 2021. He holds a post-graduate degree from Shri Dev Suman University in 2016 and completed B.ED from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in 2014. He loves teaching and wants to excel high in this profession. His strengths are teamwork, hard work, and quick learning. He loves reading books, listening to Music, and of course, traveling. Not only this, he is a nature lover and he loves contributing his part by planting trees and motivating others to plant trees.

Kailash joined MVDA in February 2022. He is from Chamiyala, Tehri Garhwal, and works as an academic facilitator under the GCEP project. He likes singing and reading books. He worked for 2 years in Hindustan Computer Limited. After that, He worked for 10 years as a coordinator at Himalayan Little Angel Public School, Beleshwar.

Ravindra joined MVDA in February 2021. He is from Jaunpur, TehriGarhwal and works as a supervisor under GCEP project. He has completed his Graduation in 2017 from SridevSuman University. He enjoys walking in the mountains and exploring new places. He has done many treks while doing this. Ravindra loves reading about the great personalities especially those who brought changes in our society, getting to know about them inspire him a lot.

Meena has been associated with MVDA for more than a decade now. She works as a community mobilizer under FIWE project. She is a post graduate in Sociology and likes to motivate the women of the community to empower themselves. Meena is a highly motivated personality and always tries to learn something new.

Manoj is graduate in Hindi from Shri DevSuman University, and belongs to Uttarkashi. Heworks as Assistant Project Coordinator under GCEP project. He is associated with MVDA since 2014. Previously, he has done social surveys and training program for the same. Apart fromwork, he never misses a chance to play some sports.

Kunwar is a post graduate in Sociology and works as a community mobilizer under FIWE project. He is a part of MVDA for more 15 years. He possesses a lot of experience of the field and helps in smooth execution of the project. Kunwar enjoys watching war movies and never misses a chance to read about the Indian Army.

Dinesh is a post graduate from Mathematics and have also done BSc. He is associated with MVDA since 2021 and works as a supervisor under GCEP project. Prior to that, he was a teacher in Gyan Ganga Modern School. He enjoys solving puzzles and play mathematics games during his free time.

Dheerandra is a Post-graduate M.Sc (Maths) from Garhwal University and B.Ed. from Kashmir University. He also holds a one year diploma in computer application. He joined MVDA in the year 2008 as a Computer Operator and worked till 2015. He has also worked with Paryavaran Jan Vikas Samiti as a computer teacher from March 2015 to March 2021. At present, he joined MVDA as Community Mobilizer under holistic rural development project. He is a driven person who wants to contribute to community development and loves to play cricket and read books.
