Working with MVDA as a resource person was a meaningful experience for me. I conducted gender sensitisation sessions with young girls and training sessions with staff. This helped me understand the challenges and strengths of remote mountain communities in Uttarakhand. What I found most important was MVDA’s focus on people and community learning. The young girls shared their thoughts openly when given a safe space, showing how important such discussions are in rural areas. It was a privilege to be part of MVDA’s work and their efforts to support communities in a simple and caring way
