Biodiversity Convention: Seed, Soil & Millets

Sayyed Manzer

The organization has been working in the Tehri Gharwal areas where securing a livelihood in the times of migration is a major challenge. MVDA officials were extremely flexible in terms of our choice of project. We had conducted Impact assessment of The Farming Innovation for Women Empowerment (FIWE) project, Worked for creating market linkage for the products made by the women artisans in the Market Aligned Skill Training (MAST) project through potential collaboration with Private Organizations’/Individuals/NGOs and Government Departments. In both the projects mentioned above we had the opportunity to work in the closest proximity with the stakeholders and that helped us understand the challenges faced by them, particularly the women farmers. The hospitality of MVDA officials has been worth remembering and they provide you an environment where you can learn at your own pace with experienced professional guiding you at every point. Surrounded by the breath-taking views of mountains and chilly wind, our stay arranged by MVDA was mesmerizing. If lucky, you can even experience snowfall
